The patient reported experiencing recent breakouts of acne on the chin, despite having tried multiple remedies with no success. Online research indicated that the acne may be due to hormonal changes. The patient mixed 10 drops of chlorine dioxide with 2 oz of purified water and applied it using a spray bottle. They also mixed 75% DMSO with purified water in a separate spray bottle and applied it after the chlorine dioxide mixture. After following this routine, the acne cleared up effectively. However, the patient is concerned that stopping the treatment may result in the return of acne.
