Wound Treatment for Cats

One day, a neighborhood cat came to visit, and I noticed a large ulcer on his thigh. The cat was in pain and wouldn’t let me touch the wound. I decided to spray a solution of chlorine dioxide and water on the ulcer. At first, the cat went wild, but I chased it around and applied the solution as best as possible. About two months later, I saw the same cat again, and to my surprise, the wound had completely healed without leaving any scars. The ulcer was about an inch wide and half an inch deep, and I was amazed to see that the black fur around the area was smooth and shiny, as if nothing had ever happened. Although I regret not having taken any before-and-after photos, I was pleased to see that the cat was in good health.
